BDG for Custom Javascript Events

As promised a Busy Developer's Guide to Seth's Custom Javascript Event mixins. It's a truly simple example, but it should display the simplicity of getting this going, and to some degree how it separates concerns.

Seth: There's a typo I believe on line 29 of event_broker.js. And line 161 of event_mixins.js. Should they not refer to "listenForEvent"?

I'm lost. Is there any chance you're using a different version of the scripts? Are you referring to the line numbers as shown in the pretty-printed code at the bottom of my page?

Nope I downloaded the files and opened in my text editor. BTW, the pretty printing renders really horribly in IE7... and since I don't have access to anything else at the moment, I can;t adjust what I said about the line numbers. Anyway, my point is that in the code comments there are references to this.listen() which don't seem to exist in the code.
