NBC Universal to Acquire Oxygen Media: NBC said it would pay $925 million for Oxygen, a cable television network that focuses on women viewers and is led by Geraldine Laybourne. [Previous posts have pointed out that I’m working at Oxygen these days… and to quell the email filling my inbox from friends and family, as of right this minute, I have little idea of the effect this purchase will have on the extraordinary team I enjoy daily, our products, or of course, on me personally.
